Jackie Stouffer | Our Founder
Creative Dreams Outreach Center began with a step of faith.

Founder Jackie Stouffer had spent much of her life working with children and studying the needs of young people. With a background in Elementary Education and a heart shaped by faith, she began to notice a gap in programming outside of school. Again and again, the need pointed to middle and high school students - young people who needed encouragement, belonging, guidance, and a reminder that their lives had purpose.

Jackie's vision for Creative Dreams was simple and deeply personal: to help every young person served recognize that they were created with purpose and that God was ready to help them reach it.
​
In 2009, Jackie took the first official step by signing a lease in a shopping center. The doors opened on January 23, 2009. As the ministry grew, she sometimes wondered whether she was he right person for the job, but she never regretted that first act of obedience. Over time, the young people started coming. The space filled. The needs grew. And the dream continued to unfold.
​
When the original space could no longer support the work, God opened the door for Creative Dreams to purchase land and begin building. Though the process did not always follow the expected plan or timeline, Creative Dreams eventually moved into its current home on Staffordshire Road in Stafford, directly across from Stafford High School, in the heart of a community it was called to serve.
​
Jackie's own life gave her deep compassion for young people facing hardship. Having known instability, loss, and pain in her early years, she dreamed of building a place that could touch the heart of a young person who needed hope - the kind of place that could have touched the heart of a young Jackie.
​
Today, Creative Dreams continues that founding vision: creating a safe, faith-filled, and loving environment where young people are seen, encouraged, and reminded that they were made on purpose for a purpose.

The book is not meant to be a step by step guide for founding a ministry, but an illustration of how God equips the called. God is calling.
